Spain: In November elections, Liberal Cs (RE) lost over half of its voters vs. April elections. Plurality of the losses didn't vote, many moved to PP (EPP) and Vox (ECR) Vox's gains were also fuelled by newcomers from PSOE (S&D) and PP. Turnout decreased.

Re outcome, I suspect that coalition deal to govern will have some similar successes to that of PS/BE in Portugal, but whilst the democratic right of Catalan citizens is ignored there will be no real legitimacy to the next phase of the Podemos project.

Spain has had 4 elections in 4 years. And still no stability in sight. The Socialists won the most seats, but the Congress is even more fragmented than it was on the last elections. This will make it even harder to form a strong government.

I will be on talking about the coalition agreement for a possible new government in Spain. It’s not going to be as easy as the hug Iglesias gave Sánchez today. Around 10.20 p.m. (11.20 p.m. Spanish time).

Until this Sunday there could be no alliance. Now there is one. Can anybody understand what happened in two days to make Sanchez & Iglesias friends again?
