I took the final CCSS yearbook class out for a celebration lunch today. This was an amazing group of students and they created a book to remember. The sad part is that this the last yearbook class I will have to the pleasure to teach.

BREAKING: All autism service staff (290) receive layoff notices at . Only 120 contracts available for competition in Sept. 170 jobs permanently lost because of OAP failure. Shame!

You can put lipstick on a pig, but it's still a pig. People see the cuts to education, health, autism supports, and everything else, and no matter how you dress it up people still see it as wrong!

Just received my surplus letter, so did many of my colleagues. We are social workers who support students and families every day when they are in crisis. Who will help them now? I thought no one was going to lose their jobs?
