Something is terribly wrong when a 16 year old Swede has to tell American lawmakers they must do more to address an imminent global crisis. Sadly, the current Administration is so greedy, and so ignorant, that they’ve refused to act.

Because the winters are no longer cold enough, the American Hemlock tree has been struck by the wooly adelgid predator beetle. Whole forests are disappearing. This is unacceptable, as is so much, but we have NO ONE in charge.

10% of the planet - an area 5x the size of the US - has warmed by more than the scientific community’s red line of 2 degrees Celsius since the late 1800’s. 20% of Earth has warmed by at least 1.5C. Ocean currents are shifting.

These old white men in Congress and the White House aren't worried about climate change because they'll be dead when many of us won't be able to breathe and they will have spent all the $$ they got from the companies who paid them to insure it.

Hey Warrior Mamas- If you want to raise the leaders of tomorrow, don’t let your kids be treated like prison inmates. Florida student suspended for handing out climate change fliers. He can’t attend prom now.

being in a European country and just seeing day to day (in a heavily populated city i might add) the significantly SMALLER amount of waste that this area produces on top of how they dispose of & recycle it, America needs to STEP THE FUCK UP

Not a pretty future for your kids and your grandkids? Kiss sea ice goodbye. Keep electing idiots. Keep ignoring education. It could get worse, even faster.

The protest against climate change should be made worldwide. We need to put our actions to words and make a noticeable change in the coming time; because of today's actions we might be able to save the planet for future generations.

On the 4th of Sept there was a bushfire at Wentworth Falls which quickly got out of control due to extremely dry conditions and strong winds. 13 days later it's snowing in Katoomba - only 8kms away. All fine fine folks, nothing to see here.
