A business in NI advise me they move 5 x 🚚 to ROI daily Each 🚚 has 200 unique consignments In no deal that’s 1,000 customs declarations every day Typical cost for a declaration is £35, so that’s: £175k /week £700k /month £8.4m /year extra costs, not sustainable 🛃🚛

If I were PM I’d make all MPs face their constituents. Say to people sorry. We lied. We can’t make it work. We’re revoking Article 50. BUT we’re releasing ALL the money we had for IMMEDIATELY to be spent on the NHS, schools and police TODAY. You deserve better than Brexit

Lunch in a ‘chain’ restaurant today, manager and chef (used as a waiter in desperation) serving many customers. Orders were going wrong, refunds, apologies etc. I asked the manager what was happening and guess what? It was down to - all European staff have gone.

I spent 4 hours today in meetings about contracting Germany and Ireland-based clearing members for our derivatives business, and moving our portfolio to Eurex from the London Clearing House (LCH). has been a three year long, big, pointless waste of (my) time.

Normally in life you can live and let live with other people’s decisions. The problem with is other people’s decisions are affecting me directly. I’m losing fundamental rights because other people don’t like the EU. And the politicians don’t give a damn. 😓

Just catching still MSM & Remain think it’s a compromise to have a Customs Union etc. Look we don’t leave the EU if we stay in the CU. This is one of EU’s chief institutions that stops Britain being independent. It really isn’t difficult. Barnier admitted this.
