"But it is a struggle, and one that seems to evade stats and articulation and empathy and sympathy and an escape. The only enemy is your failure to beat the median quickly enough and by enough standard deviations."

It’s clear the White House doesn’t consider $1.6 trillion in student loan debt an issue. Trump could’ve wiped out all student loan debt but instead steered that $ to the richest 1% w/ massive . I join Assemblyman in calling to cancel student debt.

Young people should not be hamstrung by student loan debt and forced into low paying jobs just to make the minimum monthly payments. We cannot keep leveraging the futures of our young people. I stand with in calling to and cancel student loan debt

The problem I see is that the legislators that can make this happen are beholden to the few that profit off the student debt system. Same old story. I'm looking for candidates that openly support this.

In response to capital driving everyone deeper into debt, perhaps we should be demanding "wages for students" (pending the abolition of wage labor altogether, of course):

College has become a scam to peddle high interest student loans. We need to change the paradigm of businesses mandating degrees for starter jobs. Oh, and cancel student debt.

Thought your 10 years in public service would help you gain loan forgiveness? Not unless you're very, very, *very* lucky. The Education Department reports that it has forgiven fewer than 100 people's loans under the program.

The and movements seem like so long ago. Let’s show that millennial holiday spirit. Renew our call for these as we shut down the tax bill. And make sure Congress votes no on PROSPER act. Will gut loan protections&debt forgiveness.

Roughly 3.8 mil people graduate from college in a year (2015 stats all degrees included), and last year 1.1 mil people defaulted on their student loans (2016 stats). This is a crisis
