I’m extremely grateful for the work and coalition building by on the Amash-Lofgren amendment, that would and protect our privacy from the federal government. It’s too bad my Congressmen don’t have the same value for the Bill of Rights.

The Speaker says that before 9/11 there was a firewall preventing surveillance of "terrorists". He says the amendment would reinstate that firewall. That firewall he is talking about is the Constitution!
