And now also async runtime independent. Only one function (optional via a cargo feature) actually depends on async-std now, everything else is just based on the futures API.

Yeah, thanks to you for motivating me enough to do that just before my @RustFest workshop :)
I've also ported the workshop code but will still do it with tokio because that's what the title of it said when I submitted the proposal.
