Yes! Thanksgiving is one of our 'Friends Ride Free' holidays, so every fare paying adult can bring a guest on board with them for free. Just remember, friends don't let friends ride without a mask! 😷🙃

A2: There are lots of alternative transportation options, even in Southern California! Try using the trolley while in San Diego, or get out an explore on foot or by bike.

Hi David - Extended hours was one of the main focuses of Elevate SD (a potential ballot measure that was halted due to COVID). With any future potential future funding sources, extended hours for key corridors is likely to be a component, but nothing identified at this time.

Without a new funding source, greatly expanded increased service isn't feasible, but we will continue to look at opportunities to improve service in the future for riders and the system.

Hi Tony - We know how important more frequent service is to riders. A main focus of our TOP effort in 2018 increased the number of high-frequency (15 mins or better) bus routes; and as we're sure you know, it was also one of the major components of our Elevate SD plans.

Hi John - Reduced fare Compass Cards cannot be purchased at ticket vending machines, which is why the total is being charged for a regular Adult Fare ($6) + card fee. At TVMs, you can purchase a one-way reduced fare, or load a reduced fare Day Pass onto an existing Compass Card.
