Hmmm ... let's see ... how should my guest and I begin our meal tomorrow while recording a lunchtime episode of my Eating the Fantastic podcast? Those crab waffle fries look good ... though they could end up clogging an artery!

I go here, but yes, I often miss things, too, and only discover markets which would have been perfect for a story after a reading period shuts down.

As a fan of Ted's, perhaps you'll enjoy eavesdropping on my dinner conversation with him during an episode of my Eating the Fantastic podcast.

I dreamt I brought my Jeep in to get the oil changed, and discovered Jim Steranko was ahead of me in line. I ended up getting in a conversation about comics with the mechanic, as well as with one of the other customers, who surprised me by knowing all there is to know about Jim.

FYI — that panel's drawn by by Bill Draut, and is from the story "Love Is a 3 Ring Circus," originally published in Young Romance #165 (May 1965). The scripter appears to be unknown.

I've been thinking about that due to certain recent controversies. It reminds me of those panels we've all attended during which a panelist says, "I have no idea why I'm on this panel." And then offers an opinion anyway, when they instead should STFU. I've been choosing to STFU.

Tonight's treadmill TV — Mr. Robot Season 4, Episode 6 — which included a moment halfway through that immediately filled me with dread and had me shouting "Noooooooooooo!" And then what I thought would happen, happened. Chekhov was right, and not just about guns.

Nice! Now you've got me pondering ... what are *my* favorite con photos? The first which comes to mind was snapped when I spotted at , placed my hand on the glass wall which separated us, and when she placed her palm over mine, said these familiar words ...

If I could only go to one L.A. deli, it would be Langer's. It has pastrami that rivals Katz's.

Which I believe, when rotated 90 degrees clockwise, was used as the cover to the reissue about a decade back of Harry Harrison's novel Make Room, Make Room. Am I right, ?

Someday, this country will hold Nuremberg-style trials, and those who worked for ICE will learn "I was only following orders" is an insufficient defense for committing crimes against humanity. But until that day, I beg all ICE employees — resign and save your souls. ABOLISH ICE.

Let me say again: the President is a stochastic terrorist. If any violence occurs during Virginia's state of emergency, the blood will be on his hands. To tweet this right after Neo-Nazis were arrested for planning to attack the Virginia Capitol is inflammatory and irresponsible.

Tonight's treadmill TV — Mr. Robot Season 4, Episode 5 — an extremely tense episode! — so I used last night's episode of The Good Place as a chaser.
