European&local elections take place on May 24.Any student who will be 18 by that day can vote if registered. A member of the Garda Síochána will visit school tomorrow, Friday@12pm to stamp the supplementary registration forms of any student who has photo I.D.

👩‍🔬Pictured is Ann Rutherford 6th year student who designed and made an artificial human heart which was used on the set of Vikings. She made a mould which she then poured pigmented silicone into. When it set ‘fat’ & artificial blood were added.

👏Congratulations to Haley Starr of LC class 2018,who was awarded an Entrance Exhibition award by Trinity College Dublin.This award is given to those first year students who have excelled in their Leaving Cert. Haley is studying Biological& Biomedical Sciences.

👍🏻Another one of our Leaving Cert 2018 students, Saskia Mamah, was also awarded a UCD Cothrom na Féinne Scholarship. She is a very deserving recipient. Saskia is studying English, History and History of Art. We wish them both every success in the future.

Today we celebrate Fr Anthony Receveur. During the French Revolution in 1789 Fr Anthony built retreat houses for people to come and practice their religious faith and beliefs. The Sisters of the Christian Retreat still follow his teachings today.
