My startup secret sauce: live with . I can't think of many who have such deep *and* broad knowledge. Product prioritization, contract negotiation and pricing, first key hires (& teasing out what my special contributions and energy-givers are), user research, you name it

Case in point; texting & she drop this gem: > “Does this give you energy” is such a better question than “are you good at this”…startup harmony is finding a way to have as many people doing the things that give them energy as possible Look forward to her future Forbes cover 👀

Their search URLs are just these long IDs. Though to their credit I just realized you actually can share those and it keeps all the settings; wasn't intuitive to me but does solve the issue so my bad!

My biggest gripe with single page apps is the unnecessary abandonment of query parameters. Search queries, change sort/filter params, etc. should always update the URL for easy sharing. Google Drive, Asana, my own app (brb gonna go fix), and most SPAs I see all have this problem

This may be my own incompetence, but iPhone should prominently alert you if you put your AirPods into a dead charging case. Thanks for coming to my TED Talk.

Sometimes I can’t fall asleep because I’m too excited to wake up, go for a bike ride, and make some coffee 🙈

Not only do Kamala (and the countless women I look up to—👋 , to name a few) slay at their jobs, but they somehow do it while surely overcoming bullshit like this all the time—and through some strength I'd never muster not lose it

Listen. The amount of mind Olympics Kamala has to do to not come across as angry, emotional, combative but also be firm, warm, honest, direct ...all while this mf’er is straight up lying and gaslighting her. Whew. The strength and the talent of Black women.

Damn, I'd like to be Kamala when I grow up. What a boss—she's so impressive up there, and I'm thrilled at the prospect so many girls and boys are growing up with her as a leader.

Related, I used to think data models should 1:1 match the product UI. Don't want something *too* abstract, but 's take was enlightening: intermediate product *interfaces* should be close to 1:1, but the underlying implementation can have foresight and be more flexible.

Today, a customer asked us to help automate a more complex workflow than we'd run into. But all the building pieces were there, so while I didn't fully anticipate it from customer research, it was still doable. I keep running into things he's built like this!

One of my favorite lessons I've learned from is flexible product infrastructure. Don't build the feature as-is; build product abstractions that both solve the problem today as well as work for anticipated permutations of the problem for the next ~3 months.
