I credited him with having found how to do this in the source.

Then they should reevaluate their skin thickness. Somebody disagreeing with you is not an attack. If you expect everybody to agree with you, you are a moron... if you don’t want anybody to attack your points, they are probably crappy points.

To expand upon that - a few people seem to be so afraid of conflict that they can’t handle somebody not always agreeing with them. You don’t need people like that in your life, a good discussion with a lot of disagreement will almost always bring about a better end product.

Yes you can, but you will get a specific subset of the packages. Let me know if you have problems with any of them.

Since I’ve been getting some emails about this: Cercube was removed from BigBoss repo by without any given notice to me. While this was handled very unprofessionally, there’s nothing I can do about it. To install Cercube, you need to add my repo .

Can you show me what happens if you run it from ssh? Looks like your dpkg is probably messed up somehow, maybe try rejailbreak it is supposed to fix it for you. It’s not uikittools, that isn’t related to what your screenshot shows...

A tweak to fix that would be pretty useless unless you can only do it if the secure enclave has been unlocked once already?

If there had been any problems with the code I would have apologized but there was not. It is actually an Apple bug that was triggered by a third party app doing something bad. I have filed a bug report with apple too.

Thanks to for letting me duplicate bootloops without bootlooping a real device. Without that it would have been much more difficult to isolate this.

Full explanation [2/2]: It then caused springboard to go into a crash loop because it tried to create an NSURL with a nil (empty) path. The workaround implemented checks to ensure that the CFBundleExecutable is present for every bundle, and aborts if it is missing.

Full explanation [1/2]: An app removed /Applications/Setup.app/Setup which is the executable for the bundle. When uicache was run it detected modifications to and informed the system to re-read it.

We have identified the cause of the recent bootloops following Cydia updates. There was a system file removed by another jailbreak app. New uicache caused the system to detect this and bootloop. A test has been implemented that will avoid informing the system of missing files.
