Do you have any information about traceability of this recycle process? Where does this material go and what happens to it?

This is so grim. How are apples from NZ and other counties cheaper than 30 cents a pound with all those import costs. I want to eat local food and I want to support my neighbour who produces it for the community. Time to bring back food co-ops?

I’ll take gender-neutral ‘intense’ names like Violator or Green Crack over names like this. Alienating your customers is edgy, right?

The name itself is original enough (they say it’s ‘Ghost OG x Trophy Wife’) but from a marketing perspective this is totally unappealing. So much baggage around that noun which IMO eludes to conflict that I’d rather not have to think about when buying weed?

Traceability and sustainability are at the top of my “to support” list. It’s easy selling products you believe in and that excitement and passion can be contagious to customers. I second that samples would be helpful! But hopefully we’ll do away with pre-packaging before long.

Transparency re: cultivation practices (how/when/where?), processing (duration/hand/machine/irradiated?), extraction method(s), ingredients (vapes/topicals), packaging/quality control. 2-way feedback channel with the LP to access *real*, reliable info instead of marketing fluff.

I worked Christmas Day. My supervisor received a phone call, during which he was told to stay on the customer service floor instead of being productive in his department so it didn’t look like we were understaffed. The owner was sat at home watching the store cameras. :)

In your experience, how are you able to determine that a store/owner cares about the products they sell?

when people get so used to fast fashion & amazon prices that they start harassing small businesses & artists for being “overpriced”.....that’s not cute

Concerns that "the public" wouldn't support a green recovery is BS. The public understands we have intersecting crises & have repeatedly given this gov mandate for bold climate action. This is code for "the Bay St and O&G lobbyists" wouldn't support...

While it would be nice to only bring in foreign quads, business economics will inevitably take over and lead to the exploitation of low-cost labour for all production. Corporatism is failing us and it would be amazing for a new industry to set a new standard!

I work in liquor currently and notice two things: a majority of purchases are low-cost (house blends of foreign+local juices or cheap international imports), and it’s notoriously difficult to access out-of-province Canadian wine. I personally don’t want this for cannabis.
