This Labour councillor shouldn’t get away with deleting their twitter account. should be kicking them out the party. Antisemitism was wrong when Twitter was in its ‘infancy’ as it is now. needs to mean something

Full on attack on Dr Silver ( ) now from MCC. He is a well respected academic. The war on experts is broadening clearly.

This is not just full apology needed and clarification from councillors who wrongly attacked Dr Silver serious. It is resigning serious. Whoever in terms of political leadership authorised the statement should resign.

They need to be independently and expertly scrutinised (not the planning department) and the affordable element made public.

Steady on though. The shitstorm might upset the champagne quaffing at Mipim.

“Doncaster, Enfield, Greater Manchester, East Devon — these are just a handful of the local authorities where corrupt practices have been discovered in planning departments.” Three out of those four run by Labour 🤔

We requested one for Castlefield Renaker Towers. After “commercially sensitive” redactions it was unreadable.

It's vital that we have councillors for the city centre who are proactive, get culture, and are community champions. Because the crisis is real.

But as with all investment bubbles, at some point the music stops and no one can believe that everyone was so gullible

Much development based on assumptions of population growth by MCC but who has scrutinised it? Social cleansing of city is based on it

Manchester's housing greed is destroying its cultural heart. My opinion for on how Manchester city centre is developing and how it's not for us.

Then, they’d announce a scoping review about teleportation between Leeds & Manchester instead because hyperloop technology would have moved on while they’ve been doing the reannouncements. Then, London would get Teleport 2. And we’d still have f***ing Transpennine with no wifi.

An excellent report that deserves the attention of the planning committee in making their decision. Whether it gets it is another matter.

I've set 's report 'From Homes to Assets' in the context of the wider city in Manchester. The financialisation of housing in the city core 1- is not sustainable for residents in the centre 2- impacts the whole city:

An absolute must read for anyone interested in the housing issue. Very sobering. And requires action - we are on a catastrophic path that impacts the whole GManchester city region.
