Amazed to see such engagement from planning committee - where have they been until now? Agreed it smacks of imminent council elections

Dear planning committee. Please do whats right for the people, character and soul of our city. Some things have more value than mere profit + despite our glories deep inequality shames us. Happy to share my research if you are interested; I love this city deeply

Daily basis. This is the Leese & Roscoes plans for the city. Grey. Bureacrats. Creeping misery.

That familiar sickening feeling when you see something like this happening. It's almost on a monthly basis now. Time for an MCC shake up, they have totally lost the plot.

Hello, NQ residents. Just writing a feature about whether the area is under threat from redevelopment, partly due to property speculation. If anyone particularly wants to comment, will you tweet me and I'll follow you back? Merci

Not just NQ. Whole of Manchester. ALL areas city centre. Last few years have been so hectic as just 1 person vol time. Root cause always the same. Bad planners. Bad advocacy. Ignoring rusty 2007 policy they have. Constant ignoring & aiming to disempower. And on it goes...

will undo decades of its own heritage policy if this tower is approved in a conservation area? Not needed & in the wrong place.

Labour have approved thousands of luxury properties Manchester and constantly ignored my demands for affordable housing. This is a poor, pitiful and shameless attempt to cover up their completely broken system.

Don't forget! 95/96 seats. 96 until recently. Majority of continuation cabal for far too long. Conservation zone ignored. No recognition Neighborhood Plans or having efect. Renaker to ignore residents. Leaders didn't intervene. No debate. Avoid many commitments.

3 things were clear from last planning meeting: 1- Residents did a great job. 2- Planning dept is now running its own agenda, not elected representatives. 3- Shudehill should have been refused at the meeting. That it wasn't was because of the inadequacies of councillors.

The sense of entitlement amongst developers in (and amongst their hired hands) is a serious threat to its townscape
