It’s so much about racism that contradicts itself. We were unintelligent, yet raised white kids. Ugly, but would be raped my the master. Lazy, but did all the work. Hypocrisy runs in racist white blood, let’s debate.

I don't understand how every historian and social scientist who works on internment/concentration camps can say 'this is how horrible things start' and so many people still ask, 'but is it really?' YES. The answer is YES.

Sarah Sanders says the White House will not consider standalone legislation to stop family separation. They'll only consider legislation that includes funding for a border wall, etc. So yea. The White House just confirmed that these children are, in fact, being used as pawns.

Got it. We shouldn't compare ICE to Nazis, because they're just following orders. Yup, no problems here at all. 🤔

I honestly didn't know that I was supposed to follow a service dog in a vest if it approached me by itself. I do now. So do you. The world is a slightly better place. Well done us.

If you think authoritarianism cannot happen here in America, I lived through a time when it already did: to 120,000 Japanese Americans, most of us citizens. It starts by dehumanizing a group, then spreads through fear, ignorance and hate. Recognize the patterns. Remember history.

I don’t know what to do. Evil is being done right now and we are afraid to get too loud. This moment in time will define us for generations. And people will say I am being dramatic. And I say: you are part of the problem.

when i was four, i was taken away from my father during an intense custody battle and placed in a group home for several years by an idiot judge. we went to parks and zoos, too, and then i’d cry myself to sleep most nights. the trauma left me bent for years. this is child abuse.
