49 home births in April. So proud to work with such passionate Midwives and Mama’s Woman centred, continuity of carer at its best. Well done team.

97% of AMU and 50% of FMU staff are regularly pulled from their areas to cover the Labour ward which results in the temporary closure of the AMU/FMU! But the staff are usually looking after MU suitable women! Need to use our MU more effectively!

Same purpose, same hope, but worlds apart. The joy of midwifery is what we hold between us and we must never take for granted the small message that this sends.
