Reham, 22, was injured in an attack on , killing her newborn son. Reham was transferred to SAMS-supported Idlib Central Hospital where she underwent surgery. The doctors had no other choice but to amputate her leg to save her life. She was discharged 6 days later.

This past weekend, SAMS CA Chapter hosted its 1st health fair. 10 medical professionals provided chronic disease, vision exams & dental screenings. This fair is part of SAMS Community Outreach (SCO) program, seeking to bring quality healthcare to our home communities in the US.

Zeinab, 5, was severely injured by shrapnel in her left leg in an attack on her hometown of Ma'arat al-Nu'man, Idlib. Our surgeons performed a 6-hour surgery to save her leg. We're happy to report that Zeinab was discharged 5 days later, and will be undergoing physical therapy.

Our mobile vaccination clinic in Saraqeb delivers vaccines to children, ages 1 to 5, living in province who have no access to these services. Our team visits about 25 villages and IDP sites, providing vaccination services to 500 children on a monthly basis.

Welcome to SAMS-supported Al-Ferariyeh Healthcare Center in northern Aleppo countryside. It's one of the major centers in the area, providing primary care and specialized services to nearly 1,000 beneficiaries from surrounding areas on a monthly basis, free of charge.

On May 12, 2019, SAMS-supported Maternity & Children's Hospital in Tarmala was targeted, forcing it to close for resulting severe damages. We're happy to share that we were able to reopen the same facility in a different location, resuming our lifesaving services.

Our mobile clinic in northern Hama has been working round the clock, providing primary & specialized care to IDPs living in 30 makeshift camps across Ma'arat al-Nu'man countryside. This mobile clinic operates from Saturday to Thursday, treating 100-150 patients on a daily basis.

Abdulaziz is one of the hundreds of thousands impacted by the recent escalation in NW . He suffered from a broken arm and minor hemorrhages in an attack on his village while he was on his way to work. He was treated at a SAMS hospital in Al-Mara'a. He's now doing well.

The aerial bombardment campaign over northern Hama & southern Idlib continues, where SAMS facilities have reported receiving at least 127 injured, many of whom were children, over the past 2 days. Most of our hospitals are currently working under a state of emergency.
