I used to let people carry me down stairs if no lift if they offered and now I wouldn’t do that anymore but it’s individuals choice but at least it’s a choice. If you have a heavy electric chair then it’s not advisable but if you are being pushed then why not.

Oh please this isn’t a steep ramp at all!! Sometimes we need to pick our battles. When I travel to developing countries these acts of trying to accommodate go a long way, we can all decide to use facilities that aren’t 100% health & safety approved but nice to have the option?!

Because when you have a genetic condition from birth that progressively gets worse it’s frustrating to constantly have to explain yourself. Once maybe when you first claim but not over and over. A letter from a consultant should suffice.
