Congrats to the team on the big release! NSX-T is an important, integrated part of PKS, and we have big news coming soon linked to NSX-T 2.3... While it’s important to keep this K8s CNI interface open, customers are telling us loud and clear: solving the challenges = important.

As a technologist and frequent traveller I’m fascinated (and actually delighted) how the best, fastest security check is when at the airport they have dogs vs massive screening infra. A wonderful, simple, natural and efficient answer to at least part of the challenge.

I re-listened to the Clarence Thomas/Anita Hill hearings. It was a disgrace. I think society has advanced. Not enough. How much (and how little) will be evident.

For me, the key is remembering that the people there want to hear what you have to say, and that transparency (including what you’re not sure of, what you don’t know) is powerful. I had a full demo fail in front of 20,000 ppl once. Be human, be sincere, be transparent.

And YES, at we’re proud of our contributions. That is a statement that doesn’t come at the expense of anyone. OSS contributions is not a zero sum game.

Everyone needs to chill a bit in their response to this post looking at the twitstream. It’s not a competition. Contribution counts don’t correlate 1:1 to contribution value. % doesn’t represent absolutes. Chill out. Contribution is good.

+1000. Not only just fun and invigorating, it also keeps neural plasticity high (open mind). Humans tend to do what they have done before, even when circumstances change.

Ah shucks, man - thank you, you’re making me blush. Listen. Adapt your point of view based on context/input - but hold your ground on what you’re passionate about. Use the dialog to build shared consensus. They want to hear what you have to share.
