Learn to pray and stay prayerful, the absence of this is to lead via manipulation and guess work or sometimes pure human psychology. Learn to never become a brawler but a prayeeeeer! Never forget, it's His flock, not yours.

Never use the flock as collateral for building networks amongst fellow ministers, for instance, using the platform to secure other platforms via invitations. The spiritual growth and interest of the flock must come first.

Things Pastoring has taught me (5) Do not use your privilege or office to fester your ambitions, whether financial or career or political, do not abuse your office. Beware of ambitions to become. You should seek to serve and not "rise".

Except with the likes of Judas, folks should still come around (you get?). A large heart!!! That is the Pastor - a large heart. Then more and more will be bred and nurtured.

(read this sentence again, it is not what it appears to be). You will have Barnabas, Silas and Timothy and never forget, John Mark. Jesus had Judas, Peter, Thomas and the rest, so no heart attacks thinking you said or did something wrong.

Things Pastoring has taught me (4) Have and develop a large heart. Have enough shock absorbers for disloyalty and its likes. Love is your seatbelt and airbag on the high way of human relationships. Never be caught relying on men's commitments and never despise them either

Dear Pastor, you will keep learning till the end. A good teacher is always a good student. When you truly love the flock, you would not stop learning.

Timothy was a man that Paul accorded the recognition of knowing the message. Yet, he was still instructed to take heed, learn and keep at it.

Things Pastoring had taught me (3) You learn the gospel to Pastor. You learn as a Pastor. You still keep learning whilst pastoring. There is no timeline to stop learning. Paul's letters to Timothy show you do not acquire all the knowledge in a sprint!

but the chief shepherds . Patience is why people eventually will grow up and be stable and solid ,so be patient . Pastoring has no deadlines.Except it's for other purposes than to give account to Jesus at the end .

Things Pastoring has taught me (2) Tending the flock of God is delegated duty ,the Chief Shepherd is Jesus ,you are the under shepherd, ensure you say this often to yourself and make sure the congregation realizes this ,else you will get busy with what's not your work

Displaying knowledge isn't pastoring ,communicating Christ in the scriptures is,and in much patience ,clarity and simplicity Competing with another church is proof you don't have the flocks interest at heart ,staying true to your calling shows you are for real . To be continued

Things pastoring has taught me (1) Repeat things very often ,most people ( if not all )usually don't get it till after some years, the life wire of spiritual growth is repetition .

Being a true shepherd is tough! These shepherds sacrificed their SLEEP to watch over their flock by night(Luke 2:8).Being a shepherd isn't a mere title,it's a tough function.Pst Adeoye Ademola

"Psalm 69:4-They that hate me without a cause are more than the hairs of mine head" You can't please or convince such men. Unexplainable beef is supernatural. Don't be bothered. FOCUS!!
