Hopefully, the 4 journalists will be released later today. We’ve been allowed access at their detention centres; they appear to be in good physical condition. So, there will be no protest at the police IG tomorrow morning. We will instead gather at the detention centers at 9:30am

That is actually unfounded. King Fm was in fact playing music throughout. Even if that were the case, closing them down like is unlawful. The law is clear on this. And why do we have PURA?

Two radio stations have been shut down - Home Digital FM and King FM. Four of our colleagues - Pa Modou of the former and Gibbi Jallow, Ebrima Jallow and another radio host whose name we were yet to confirm - are being held in the custody of the state.
