This is a tricky one. I'd use destructuring (I realize that already came up here :D ) OR potentially merge of props with default values inside the function (if it's a function component).

I do this when I want to reuse something, the logic is getting rough so I want to test it individually, or when it’s making the component confusing. (Often times, I’ll make a hook)

I used to use a MacBook 12” (not Pro) and it was fine for most front end development. Seemed a little slow for some operations but wasn’t unbearable.

Same. I had to bail on the interview process for some companies I was legitimately interested in exploring more because they gave a take home assignment I simply didn’t have the time to do. “Sorry, I don’t have time to make a graph database from scratch”
