Listening to local radio since we've been in Cornwall. They're celebrating the generosity of the community donating tonnes of tins to local food banks. Not right that this stuff is now seen as usual or necessary. Can't fault the generosity, it's the need for donations that is sad

This resonated with me. At the inquest for my friend who took his own life I found the formality of it all very stressful. My friend's dad spoke and how he found the strength I do not know. 16 years this year and the "what ifs" do not end...

I tried to read the Goop magazine in the B&B without being judgey. It's impossible. It's probably because my carafe inventory is low...I've got a chip on my shoulder.

It's Cornwall but it's only about an 1.5 hr away. Also we passed this on the way...it's not far from Bodmin so a little closer

It's on every one of our agendas. We ensure we are in school often and we ask staff.

Happy from all of us at the website! Daphne's 'Frenchman's Creek' (1941) is the only romantic novel she ever wrote. It was adapted in glorious technicolour in 1944 starring Joan Fontaine as Dona (just four years after she played Mrs de Winter in Rebecca)

After an extended period of illness the 12yo is now tunelessly singing Whitney Houston songs so I think he's recovered...

Mine are older now so it's been a while since bedtime stories. The cliche of it going quick then you missing those younger times is true. 10yo still retains her toddler habit of sniffing my hair for comfort tho

Ah I remember those days. A minor improvement on reading Going on a bear hunt and Goodnight Sam for weeks on end. Just about.
