Rust ships a new stable version of the compiler every six weeks, and while that may sound slightly excessive at first (especially in comparison to many other languages) there's a Method to the Cadence — explained why (and how!) they do it:

How do you make Rust async? You could try rebuilding the standard library in async… and that's exactly what does! gave us an introduction to this new library, just days before its stable 1.0 release (that happened during the impl Days!)
