I can not try be my past-self. I can not love myself because of my future potential. I have to love who I am right now. I can always work hard for goals and dream big, but this Valentine’s Day, find time to appreciate where you are NOW. Because that you is really awesome. 💛

But now I know: that girl wasn’t real. She never was. And just as striving to look or be like someone else is impossible, so too was trying to judge myself against a version of myself that never was. I was obsessed with the past and future and it made me lose the present.

Recently I learned my past ad photos were photoshopped. I was honestly horrified. For years, I was striving to “get back” to the girl I saw in those photos. Perfect skin, chin, muscular definition in all the right places. I was haunted by how far away from her i fault.

Happy Valentine’s Day! In honor of the day of love, I’m taking a moment to reflect on not just romantic, familial, and the love of friends, but also self-love. This is something I have struggled with and wanted to share my thoughts.

This is heartbreaking. Megan - you are such a powerful woman. Thank you for fighting to protect the next generation. I’m sorry for all that you went through. I’m just so sorry. ❤️
