That’s very generous. I might take you up on it if you can get around the time difference (Australia)

Honestly, I would like to create a course just so that I can teach these books.

I can definitely coordinate with time difference. Most of my cousins and extended family actually live in Australia, so I’m used to it.

Actually the structure of Captivating Tech offers a great template for a course!

I find it not in stock and also above my budget for supporting the inmates at OR's largest institution. I send cultural, New Jim Crow, and other materials into this prison to populate the lame prison library w/liberation reads. Are there other outlets to acquire? Serious Inquiry!

Do you think Race After Technology would work for Medical Soc course? Undergrads not very familiar with STS or critical perspectives on race.

You're gonna have a lot of Skype requests! I was already planning on using one or both of these in my Body grad class, plus am hoping to incorporate some sci-fi assignments in all my classes, thanks to your work. 😍

The explicit medical & life science focus is minimal, though you could easily apply the concepts to the medical arena and pair it with a short race/med primer to help connect the dots.
