In 2019 over 3000 LBB gulls & 2750 herring gulls were destroyed, along with tens of thousands of eggs. We welcome NE’s move to introduce a cap on this in rural areas, and the requirement of individual licenses. But more could be done.. More in this blog:

Ooof ! That’s a cracker ! Penduline Tit is a rare winter visitor to the UK and loves to feed on reed mace heads (bulrushes) on the edge of reed beds. Was predicted to be a UK coloniser but hasn’t happened, yet!
