Inner transformation is not a matter of faith or prayer. It involves reason and the use of human intelligence. A calm and healthy mind has a very positive effect on our physical health and well-being.

What the Dalai Lama is pointing to is not how you feel but how we work.

Prayer by itself is not sufficient to bring about peace of mind. What is much more effective is coming to understand the workings of the mind and learning how to tackle the mental afflictions that disturb it.

We may say prayers when we are trying to solve the problems we face, but it is up to us to put an end to violence and bring about peace. Creating peace is our responsibility. To pray for peace while still engaging in the causes that give rise to violence is contradictory.

Where is Roseann’s joke. It’s not that Rock was funny either he didn’t call white people names that harken back to a dark time in human history.

We were talking about offending people. If Rock was offensive, where is the outcry. It’s not about better or worse, name calling is name calling. That,s the equivalency.

But that’s the point. YOU are not offended. Other people are and you know it. You say you don’t want to be lazy stop misquoting. I said find something equal to what Roseann said. That would be a black comedian just using terms just to demean whites.

You are not offended by this comment. You are only bringing it up to attempt to find something equal to what Roseann wrote. Rock said that on tape sometime ago and no one cared. If you do care write to Netflix and it’s still not just calling people monies.

You miss quoted me. I said give me an example of something equal to calling a person a monkey. You still haven’t done that. No one said white people cant make jokes about black people.
