It's a very old client used, and iirc they have to buy the devices from the company running the cab system. There are new ones but those are massively expensive too, so they stick with the old stuff as long as they can.

New cab, old phone. Berlin taxis still rock the HTC HD2 like no other.

First network: IRCnet (TU-Ilmenau), first channel (#)warez.ger, (#)döner. This is basically how I got my job. Started hanging out in IRC while on an exchange year in Denmark in '98, leeching punk mp3 files and "other things" on the schools 486dx33 and a 10Mbit connection.

I have no way to test it. My BGA soldering skills are kinda non existant ;) It looks and feels like an actual chip, though I have no idea if it would actually be working.

yeah, we (some journos and bloggers) were given these as a gift from Huawei on a press trip a while back. Didn't know where to put it, so now it's a bit scratched.

Tuesday will still be amazing. (this is a Kirin 970 that's been in my pockets/backpack for a while now, not a 980)

yeah, there's quite a few things already on sale. btw, you don't want to order this clear case as an accessory if you plan to buy the Mate 20 Pro in retail: clear case comes in the box (depending on region, bla)
