👀 In April Mark Field sent a letter to the Met demanding “a much firmer grip” on climate change protesters - eek

So he actually has inherent resentment of these protesters. Therefore, his aggressive approach was not spontaneous but actual an aggression for their cause? I'm genuinely disturbed by this government's political direction. It's becoming unsavoury to say the least.

It's got out of hand, there's more disruption trying to getting in/out of London & more police allocated to the climate change protestors in Trafalgar Sq than they are on the streets policing / dealing with crime

Ah well, not to worry, there'll be no streets to police when they're all under water.

The protest? Yes, seemed to be premeditated, though its exact form and duration, improvised so as to maximize disruption.

We can all agree that dialogue, debates are enlightening. So is free speech. While western values accept that protests outside, in car parks etc occur, if my daughters seek to trespass, & interrupt others, I applaud them...& they know there will be consequences. Not a big deal.
