I will not apologize for standing up for Canada’s oil and gas workers and to defeat a government that is intent on phasing them out. Oil and gas puts food on the table for hundreds of thousands of Canadian families and I’m not going to let Justin Trudeau shut it down.

Pro-tip to aspiring politicians who aren’t in agreement with the decision made by Albertans tonight - the voter always gets it right. You can be disappointed in the result, but best to avoid criticizing people for how they voted.

Just happened in the House. Just before I asked for it. They blocked me. What are their priorities : certainly not Canola farmers !

Mr. Trudeau today spoke of an “erosion of trust.” On this, he is correct. The real erosion of trust in this whole affair is between Justin Trudeau and Canadians. His is a government that cannot be redeemed. It must be defeated. Conservatives are ready.

Trudeau the candidate was a relentless cheerleader for openness, accountability, and open government. On this, Trudeau the PM has become a fraud. He is now on the run, trying his best to avoid the very things he once promised to champion. I will not let him get away with this.

Funny how Justin Trudeau would never approve a pipeline through Quebec because he says “there is no support for a pipeline through Quebec.” But he has no problem imposing a carbon tax on Saskatchewan even though there is no support for a carbon tax in Saskatchewan.

This is too true. Justin Trudeau has the power to address the crisis in Alberta. He’s doing nothing. Source:

The power goes out. Totally understandable with all the frost. I go check twitter page & it won’t load because networks are overflowed. SaskTel, your towers should be able to support wireless devices that are not using WIFI.

Canada is losing $80 million per day. Energy leaders call it a "national crisis". Yet...no mention of the oil differential in the federal finance minster's economic update. Nor is this issue on the agenda for the upcoming First Minister's Meeting on the economy...
