The weather was almost spring like today, glorious. I also decided to have a rummage about the woods and got myself a "stick" 😁 Okay, it might be more of a branch but regardless, this Nuthatch didn't mind using the new prop

Topped the day off watching two Barn Owls hunting in the fields in the late afternoon light. Always a privilege to watch these gorgeous birds and never fails to lift the spirits.

I really should have had enough of Great Grey Owls by now (having had near daily sightings for the past month and a half) but fresh snow today had me hoping for new photo opportunities

And here is a little video of the courtship ritual of Great Crested Grebes (sorry it's shaky - handheld). Go and watch them in Cardiff Bay!

Last 2 pics from my wee trip. Love the dexterity of the Long Tailed Tit in the first pic, holding the branch with one foot and a piece of Sunflower Heart with the other. The 2nd Pic is just cuteness magnified!! Have a great night Twitter friends 👍😊

After suffering for the last 3 weeks with flu like symptoms I finally felt well enough to take my camera to the park. Luckily the Kingfisher was waiting for me.
