1989: Surya Bonaly became 1st woman to attempt a quad jump 2002: Miki Ando became 1st woman to land a clean quad in competition 2018: Alexandra Trusova became 2nd woman to land a clean quad in competition AND 1st woman to land 2 clean quads in 1 program

It was definitely under a quarter turn on slomo. The hitch on the landing made it look worse than it actually was. But the call was correct.

The current scoring system leaves the game wide open for Eteri to push out tiny Russian jumpers who will blaze through a couple of seasons and retire after one Olympics due to the strain landing quads and triples puts on their bodies.

This is very impressive indeed but here's the issue. She's not actually a woman. She's a girl. Will she be able to retain the quads after puberty? This is definitely history for female FS, but I feel like it's not really a woman landing quads in this case.
