great episode! i like the idea that "the best thing you can do to get involved in activism is to be successful at what you do ... and give yourself a voice that you can use to help others"

Racism in the UK can largely be blamed on the absence of empire in the school curriculum. If every child knew that Western economic dominance came from the theft, murder, colonisation and enslavement of people in countries 'we' look down on, it would fix a lot.

Instead of vanity metrics for automobiles like “0-60 in under X seconds” we should be talking about Pedestrian Killing Capacity (PKC) = vehicle weight * top speed, # of Children in Blind Spot (CBS) and Glacial Melting Capacity (GMC)

Thoughts on upgrading to 31 / 3.34: Fantastic, but it's going to take some time to get used to the new icon.

The matchbox-computer playing naughts and crosses in the second Royal Institution lecture is likely the best description of reinforcement learning for the layman I've ever witnessed. Thanks

People across our country work hard. You deserve fair wages, reliable transport, better leave, free childcare and proper social care when you retire. These are not “giveaways”. These are your rights.
