Some nice auto-translate passages from French blog on my Lyon talk: "Rob Hopkins, considered as the cool pope of the cities in transition" and "Rob Hobkins seems to be a big curious who feeds on the experiences of others and better, shares them":

Beautiful sentence in a book I'm reading: "even at that young age, maybe 5 or 6, I I knew that this was totally crazy in the most promising way".

I was unprepared for how emotional it would be to witness arrests in person earlier. And morally confused - it's the good guys vs. the good guys? I guess the bad guys are out of town for Easter.

The garden bridge has gone. After six days. All power, all love, all respect to those who kept and made it into a dream garden of humanity. Now it’s returned to this instead. It can all happen again, anywhere. It’s only just started.

Yes but there are many pluses. It would potentially be a better life: see Transition Handbook by Rob Hopkins, or The World We Made by Jonathan Porritt. Some sacrifices are worth making.

So sad to hear of the passing just over an hour ago of Polly Higgins. Always a deep admirer of her work and her approach. First met her when she was doing Concentrated Solar Power and starting her ecocide work. The past week of is a fitting tribute to her life & work

Not only has decreased air pollution on roads where protests are taking place but also: “There is little evidence of any significant increase in nitrogen dioxide concentrations in areas neighbouring those where the protests are taking place”
