I'm pickier than you...I won't eat mint in any form, not keen on sweet things, didn't eat tomatoes until I was 18, didn't eat ice cream until I was 11...but crave chilli and anything salty. Which may explain why it was so difficult to get my hypertension to settle

I am a carnivore in a family of vegans and vegetarians, and I would support it. So many people don't eat meat that at we have given up ordering meat sandwiches, simply because they get left over.

Trump's racist language energises crowd to chant open racism: As he, the President of United States, plumbs the depths of ultra right-wing hatred to re-energise his base in time for the next Presidential election.

It is amazing to know that Emily is keenly interested in a problem that we are not able to resolve. Hope this collaboration and research will be able to make some difference in the lives of the survivors of intentional burns. Thanks for extending support.

It was a pleasure to meet Dr Chamania’s multidisciplinary burn team at Choithram Hospital Indore to discuss prevention of intentional burns. I hope this will be the start of great collaboration.

This thread - a stark warning of how it could be for the UK if the march of the right, the acceptance of racism and bigotry as ‘normal’ and the failure of us all to stand up for what we know is right and fair, continues. America is not great and neither is Britain. Face facts.

It was suggested by some people notably that I should put my presentation at the recent conference alongside and online.I tried to do that, but it became long. Apologies. Some won't like it I fear

Some interesting questions posed from the feature on prescribed opioid dependence. How do we consent people to opioid treatment - should we? Why do we have such long waits for pain services? Is there a better way to support people with pain in Wales?

We should listen, and be prepared to recognise valid criticisms. We shouldn't hesitate to counter nonsense on a rational, respectful and truthful basis. Can't see anything defensive there.

Thank you for being the most balanced/authoritative/informative site on twitter. You consistently find the bio/psycho/social sweet spot, providing a much needed antidote to both harmfully extreme reductionisms- the biologic & the psychosocial.

excellent question. And do rights exist in a monarchy with no constitution? (an unwritten constitution is a fantasy)
