Just for the record, as they say, I didn't overlook Kacey Musgraves and Kelsea Ballerini in the serendipitous country roundup that is the new Expert Witness at Noisey. They were rejected--one too genteel, the other too workaday.

THE RIDER jumps high on my list of 2018 OSCAR best picture choices, along with A Quiet Place, Isle of Dogs and The Death of Stalin.... plus something I probably forgot at the moment. sigh

Steve. Paul has a very personal songwriting style...the process I mean... I don't see him teaming up with someone else. I would rather have 100 per cent him on a song, than a 50-50 partnership with anybody..
