Always free with his opinions, Karegeya made his feelings known about the drift towards totalitarianism. “It is a matter of choice. If you speak publicly, the consequences are bad. Some are dead, others were imprisoned, others in exile”

Fun fact: The SOTU was delivered in writing for more than a century. An in-person address is not required. George Washington did so in 1790, and it was not regularly done again until Woodrow Wilson in 1913.

This month we remember the late Col. Karegeya, who was murdered by assassins sent by Pres. Kagame of Rwanda. He's only crime had been to have dared to speak out against the criminal regime of Paul Kagame and his RPF.

Kagame is a mother of all hypocrisy. Saying this after closing 6000+ churches in Rw because he wasn’t or his GoR wasn’t controlling their work!

Weird experience on Doha-to-Tokyo flight on Monday. Started to read published version of my review of book on Rwanda, only to find out that my immediate neighbor was President Kagame himself, with his wife and delegation. Don't think he liked the book much!

Chairman : Pleased to see that the Government of has decided not to fight the decision made last month to acquit and her mother on politically-motivated charges. Political opposition is not a crime.

The government is the murder of this young lady, how in the world the public is going to get access to your safe houses?! And please let the public share whatever they have. Stop intimidation to the public while seeking cooperation.
