We're looking to make a key hire at : a WebRTC expert to work on the real-time features of our app. This is an important hire for us, and will likely be a tricky person to find, so I'd love your help spreading the word!

Beware people saying they’ve bought your app, it’s now crashing, but they can’t get a refund from Apple. Eventually they will ask you to refund them via PayPal, or for a promo code. It’s a scam, they didn’t buy your app. I’ve now had the same exact same email from two people.

Yeah, your statement "Coupling over Configuration" nails it pretty well. I believe the main goal is to decouple the business logic from persistence and the view and HTTP layer.

The last time I checked, it was unmaintained. I'm at a point when choosing the framework is more important than choosing the programming language. Just because of the question "Will this framework still be maintained in 10 years?"

Yep. In my particular case, I can't assume to be the maintainer in ten years as well. And I'm making a tech-stack decision in favor of my customer that can have a huge effect on the maintenance costs. Take Express for example (not really comparable, I know).

Thanks for recording. I was asked to build a new custom web app for a bakery lately. Rails is one of a few framework candidates, that won't go away because of a commercial backing. But I'm concerned about what people say how unmaintainable a Rails app can become.
