Has anyone tried to picture on a map what would happen to population moves if everyone was asked to “go back to where you came from!”? That would be quite a surprise, the sudden emptying of America and then its repopulation would be a great lesson in demography & antiracism.

Today has been a momentous day for me, one of the most important in my life. After years of using a laptop, I discovered that if you hold a vowel down, you get the variations on that vowel, e.g. holding down 'e' gives you è, é, ê, ë, ē, ė and ę. I simply can't get over it.

A question of character? Boris Johnson by those who know him. To which I would add, he was a mediocre mayor of London

This is what comes of toadying to Trump. 40% of the American public has no health coverage, and medical debt is the leading cause of family baunkruptcy.

This is an important comment about Corbyn, who has failed to lead. Shouldn’t he go, like Teresa May? Take responsibility for his failure?

This is what is meant when people talk about politics as degraded...I wonder if he feels any shame.
