Please let me know what you think of Fox and Telemundo's World Cup coverage so far and why? Going to publish this link and mentions in The Athletic Monday as part of some World Cup coverage thoughts. Thanks.

Historians long denied that Thomas Jefferson raped Sally Hemings, a woman whom he enslaved. Monticello, his home, now has an exhibit dedicated to her. I learned a lot about Hemings just reading this essay, and I recommend that you do the same.

She has since become very famous, obviously. What’s been amazing to watch is how she has used that fame — particularly her social media fame — to stand for important and meaningful things. Much respect.

this little girl is the same age as my daughter. luna is the happiest thing. the funniest girl. and she is absolutely terrified to look around and realize she is too far away from us, even for seconds. the fear she would feel here fills me with rage and sadness.
