I'm removing all the bad things about NMR. Now NMR is going to be the most used token on Ethereum *and* have no bad things.
We’ve created one of the best tokens on Ethereum. And now we’re cutting the supply by ~50% and giving up control. Introducing NMR 2.0.

So instead of NMR the app, it will now be Erasure the app, with numeraire being it's first user?

Yes, Numerai will just be one of the companies using Erasure. Other companies will use the basic app but there will be many other developers who will build their own apps on top of Erasure.

Thanks for clarifying. The interchangeable taxonomy of app, platform, protocol always gets to me.

I hope the reduction is managed well. Will it be a traditional coin burn?
