The second upcycle product we learned how to make were bowls and fruit baskets made from shredded plastic bottles that were then heated up to 160°C. There’s a company called Precious Plastic Bangkok that does this. You can find them on Facebook

The first product we learned how to make was bricks that contained about 20% plastic that had been shredded in a machine. This was mixed with sand, stone powder, cement and water. Very cool way of upcycling [2/3]

Our second stop this afternoon was at Ban Amphur Beach in Na Jomtien, just south of Pattaya. Here we took part in a beach clean up before learning how they upcycled the plastic waste to make new products [1/3]

Here are some pictures of some of our lunch today. I wasn’t able to get a picture of all of the food as the ambassadors were unaware of travel blogger etiquette of not eating before photos were taken!

Some drone photos of Nong Nooch Tropical Garden in Sattahip District. The gardens are massive and I’m told they have more than 500 gardeners tending the grounds. It’s really worth coming here for a tour. 📍MAP:

Our second activity at Nong Nooch was making a miniature garden. I was in Team Uzbekistan. You can see our garden in the first picture. They didn’t have a UK flag and so I used a Thai flag instead. After all, I’ve lived here most of my life

The first activity that we did at Nong Nooch was a tree planting ceremony. In the first picture with me are the ambassadors of Turkey and Poland. The Turkish ambassador told me that they have started an annual tradition in her country to plant trees on 11 November. A great idea.
