Sad. He could have done the same experiment on any $150 flight, going up 20,000 feet instead of 1000, and much more safely.

Dear - you were right to cancel your concert in Arabia. Please consider supporting Asayel Slay who has been ordered arrested there for recording a song and video about her pride in being a Black woman from Mecca.

Iran's Government reject's the MP from Qom's claim of 50 deaths. Iran's official statistic for the number of deaths associated with COVID-19 is 12. The number of infected is still greatly underestimated.

Ginni Thomas - wife of Supreme Court Justice Clarence - is lobbying Trump to hire specific people to her political liking. This is an threat to the balance of powers. This is fascism.

Rest in power, Katherine Johnson. Her life inspired the 2016 movie "Hidden Figures"; she was played by Taraji Henson, who starred alongside Janelle Monáe and Octavia Spencer.

“I have every right to burn and smash things. I’m not gonna ask for anyone’s permission...because before they murdered my daughter they murdered many other women and what were we all doing? Crying and sewing from the comfort of our homes. That’s over now.”

1) There's no reason for China to lie about their mortality rate (and there's on evidence for it) but 2) if it is much higher than 3% then that is *good* news not *bad* news bc it means there are much fewer cases.

I'm American. Mine is pretty good! But I live in Canada, where we have Single Payer health insurance. Does that count?

It is more usual that health-related statistics are released, not by a politician, but by a public health agency. These numbers should be regarded with some suspicion, until then.

If this is true, this is more than 4x the number of fatalities due to COVID-19 previously, and implies, based on the 3% mortality rate in China, that there are over 1600 cases of the new coronavirus in the city of Qom, Iran alone - much, much higher than previously reported.

If true, then for a mortality rate of 3%, the 12 coronavirus deaths indicate there are a total of 400 cases of apparently unidentified coronavirus in Iran.

As far as I can find, there are zero examples of Presidential aspirant of either party, who came in second in a nominating contest, and returned to win the Presidency 4 years later. Ever. Go big, win it, or go home.

Averaged over the year, the Amazon is still where the most greenhouse gasses are mitigated. But during the growing season: America's corn belt is about 40% more productive. I can hear the pro-corn-subsidy argument now.
