Once again the GOP is using parliamentary tricks to block our effort to end the devastating war in Yemen. Every 10 minutes a Yemeni child is dying. is using his remaining power to protect the Saudis who are aligned w/ al-Qaeda and murdered journalist Jamal Khashoggi.

Today the House will vote on a rule that will strip the privileged status of any resolution related to Yemen. Essentially, House Republicans are making sure there is no vote on Yemen, even one that’s the equivalent of a press release.

Does your Congressman know what’s hidden in a procedural vote on the Farm Bill today? Does he or she care? To avoid a debate on whether the US should be involved in a war in Yemen, today our leadership will trick members into suspending the provisions of the War Powers Act. SAD!

President Trump's corruption and allegiance to corporations has no limits. For months they concealed a CFPB report that increased debit card fees for students. America’s leaders should fight to protect our citizens, not cover up abuses.

I would have to disagree. I am pretty sure the only thing empty is the journalistic integrity at Fox News. Don’t let the growing number of fired up Progressives heading to Congress scare you.

The use of tear gas at our border is inhumane & forced numerous migrants into immediate danger. I joined my colleagues to demand an investigation into the Customs & Border Protection’s use of excessive force. These actions are cruel and despicable.

“After a major famine, there is always soul-searching about how the world could have allowed this to happen. What’s needed this time is not soul-searching a few years from now, but action today to end the war and prevent a cataclysm.” Congress must act.
