Ugh, it’s disgusting how much better the iPhone’s - display - responsiveness - animations - multitasking - and Face ID are than the Pixel’s. And, at a time when Google has bloated out its Maps, Apple Maps is lightning-fast and filled with handy notes like ‘Accepts Apple Pay’.

It’s that time of year: Apple Park Visitor Center has new, one-of-a-kind Avenues for Apple Watch Series 5 & iPhone 11 Pro. This time, Apple Watch Hermès is featured in Space Black, Sport Loops are highlighted, and the latest leather cases are displayed.👀:

I’m in the woods, so here’s a 30-second iPhone 11 Pro night shot of the stars and Milky Way. Bright one at the bottom left is Saturn.

There used to be a 10mb limit to downloading apps over cell and being over greatly hurt your chances of success.

I think that’s true, and also because it’s not just an apple or android market, but multiple android vendors competing against each other as well. And some of those android versus android markets are incredibly spec driven.

It’s a two way street: “You get why Apple people get so irritable with Android fans, right? “Vendors throw in chipsets instead of feature sets, with poor user experience and act like it’s good enough to ship. “Higher power draw, no imaging pipeline, inconsistent lenses…”

Like mouse traps and online comments, being “FIRST!!!1” isn’t always mean being best. :)

See my very next tweet 😂 I think the lack of collision between deep press and long press will be of benefit to more people not like me than losing the speed will be to people like me. With the exception of drag and drop now.

3D Touch was faster if you good manual dexterity. Haptic touch is more consistent and illuminates collisions. For me it’s slightly worse, for a lot of people I think it’ll end up being slightly better.

Also works with Haptic Touch. Only thing that currently doesn’t work is actual pressure sensitivity, which was only used for toggling between cursor movement and text selection in trackpad mode, and drawing in Notes, far as I can recall.

I’m not a huge music listener so I don’t run into a lot of that stuff. All I ever wanted was the ability to ask for a song and have it play. Once in a while it gives me a movie instead, which is kinda frustrating.
