Why are bots trying to convince people that there is no coup going on in Bolivia? When you type in "Friends from everywhere, in Bolivia there was NO COUP" in the search bar, there are hundreds of fake accounts putting out the same message in English.

We aren't fake accounts. We are actual bolivians trying to share the same message because misinformation had been rampant. There was no coup in Bolivia, we united to stand up against fraud and for democracy. It has been complicated and heart breaking but it was ppl led not a coup

Yet most of these accounts were set up many years ago and have sat dormant, perhaps re-tweeting celebrity stuff or other junk occasionally, then suddenly they're deployed en masse in Nov. 2019 This is what bot-farms, including those run by the CIA, do. But you knew that.
