I meant to write "Google Messages RCS rollout elsewhere is not interconnected right now with Telstra RCS in AU". Sorry for the confusion. I apologize.

Thank you for highlighting the importance of true multi-device support. While we can't share our roadmap, we are aware of this need.

Interesting. Are you not seeing "Settings --> SMS" in your Hangouts app?

Please make sure Android Messages is the default messaging app (and not Hangouts): If you still face issues, please file an in-app feedback. If you are using your device in dual-SIM mode, the same SIM must be enabled for both call and data. Thanks.

If the status says "Connecting..", it means your device is actively trying to establish RCS connection. Please submit an in-app feedback when the status is in "Connecting.." state. We will look into it. Thanks.

Thanks for reaching out. There could be RCS rollout delays for a very small set of users. If you don't get RCS by mid next-week, please submit an in-app feedback.

Having work profile shouldn't affect your ability to get RCS as long as you have the latest Messages and Carrier Services app. There could be a rollout delay for a very small set of users. If you don't get RCS by mid next-week, please submit an in-app feedback.

Please see the instructions at to switch the default messaging app from Hangouts to Android Messages. Once you make the change, you should get RCS within a day. If not, please file an in-app feedback. Thanks.
