I’m so sad that I won’t be in England this summer, but I am really happy that a virtual format means more people can participate for less $$ and I think Common Ground has redesigned the program really thoughtfully.

Like our Virtual Jane Eyre pilgrimage, this experience is less expensive and therefore more accessible than our programming that relies on traveling. Jane Eyre pilgrims said they were refreshed, felt nourished, and found a way to create a sacred space even over Zoom.

Don’t just read Black literature in this moment. Read Black lit for the rest of your life. Read and support the work of Black essayists, novelists, poets, today and forever and always. Do NOT make your support conditional on whether or not racism is in the headlines
