Oh no, that sucks! Do you think there is any specific error message we can improve to save time for others?

Five pieces from the React Native repository that were split out into separate repos received more than 850 Pull Requests combined in the last six months. That's as many as were merged into React Native! These modules are better maintained than they ever were before.

I mentioned this in my talk at and now it's a publicly available reality 😍 Using react-native-web, we could share our component library online for the rest of the company and others who are interested in this tech

This morning, I presented a brief overview of what React Native is to the incoming class of new employees. These sessions allow us to provide context on why React Native is important to Facebook. They’re also a great way to get feedback from folks who used RN prior to joining FB.

The RN JS bundle from 0.54 to 0.58 grew by 77k. The JS bundle from 0.58 to master is 40k smaller. That’s just one indicator that Lean Core is working: we are now more intentional about what goes into core and we’ll try to make it smaller even as we make 1000s of other changes.

Ok we’ll give you a few more days to get ready! Best way to get ready is by doing 30 pushups per hour until we publish it. Challenge accepted?

Facebook runs React Native from master. Sometimes we have to revert Pull Requests because they cause issues in the Facebook app. We try to resolve and merge the changes again later. Thanks for doing just that with React Fragment support on Android
